THESE PEOPLE LIVE HERE AND RUN THE SPACE
Daniel occasionally does a bunch of stuff that he used to do frequently.
Jon runs to the CN Tower and back everyday and is a vegetarian and doesn't drink or smoke but took mushrooms once. Double Double Land's name came from 3/4s of the name of a play he made. He always has a million projects on the go, the most longstanding of which is Life of a Craphead.
DOUBLE DOUBLE LAND ALUMNI
Luca is a staunch practitioner of the Socratic method. He directs and edits films, including this one. He is currently perfecting the Berlin doner.
Richie sold his condo, quit his banking job, and gave up his weekly DJ residency at a King St. West bar to move into Double Double Land. Just kidding, he still DJs on King St. He is currently perfecting the Berlin doner also.
Laura is non-stop hilarious and is a big fan of pop-up clothing sales. She makes art and posts it on her webby. She was the Double Double Land bouncer (Oskar was the assistant bouncer).
Rob listened to a lot of jazz records as a teenager and became the best drummer in Toronto. He knows a lot about tea and plays with Owen Pallett. He lived at Double Double Land for two years but moved out in September 2011 because of love.
Steve lived here for Double Double Land's first year but moved out in September 2010 to pursue an MA in creative writing in an American town where football is so ubiquitous they don't even have a name for it.
PATRONE SANTO DE DOBLE DOBLANDIA
Our bathroom? Matt built that. Our stage? Matt built that. Daniel's bedroom? Matt built that. Everything that was built in Double Double Land was built by Matt. He speaks Spanish, too. And makes sweet soul music. And plays baritone guitar with Owen Pallett.
PATRONE DE LA ELECTRICIDAD
Mark made all of our light bulbs burn brightly. He is 6'5" and weighs 100 pounds.
